Interested in the VPCOK sous vide cooker but have some questions if it’s the right sous vide machine for you? To help make the task a little easier, I have put together this VPCOK sous vide review.
The VPCOK sous vide cooker is a lot more affordable than many of the other options on the market, but it surprisingly doesn’t compromise when it comes to its capabilities. Things like a touch interface and a helpful indicator ring light are things that you wouldn’t expect to see in such an affordable product.

VPCOK Sous Vide Features

- The ring-shaped indicator light lets you check the cooker at a glance
- The clip is adjustable, for compatibility with all cookware
- Stainless steel construction is highly resistant to corrosion and rust

Several features help put the VPCOK sous vide above the rest of the products in its price range, including the captive touch buttons. Unlike traditional buttons and knobs, this kind of interface is easy to use, and it is also more resistant to water infiltration because of the smooth surface.
One of the most helpful features is the inclusion of a ring indicator light which allows you to see whether or not your food is ready without having to look at the screen directly. The VPCOK sous vide also comes included with a recipe book that will surely be handy for beginners.
With 1000 watts of heating power at its disposal, the VPCOK sous vide can heat your food at temperatures ranging between 0 and 99.5 degrees Celsius. Finally, the adjustable clip allows you to use the VPCOK sous vide with a wide range of pots and pans without having to worry about whether or not it’s securely attached.
What Others Say
Other customers have had mostly positive things to say about the VPCOK sous vide, with many of them praising the inclusion of the free cookbook. Others have mentioned how the display is easy to see at a distance, and the ring light’s handiness when they aren’t right next to the cooker so that they can see it.
Even the sleek aesthetics of this model were praised by buyers, with some of them mentioning that guests inquired about it after seeing it. One of the only things that people didn’t like about e VPCOK sous vide was that the instruction manual isn’t detailed enough, and it doesn’t even explain some of the most common error codes.
Buying Advice
This is one of the most affordable sous vide cookers around, though it’s still a little more expensive than the cheapest of the cheap. However, this also means that the VPCOK sous vide cooker comes equipped with a few extra features that you wouldn’t expect to see in the others.

Check Price on Amazon
I just bought a VPCOK immersion heater based on your review and Amazon customer reviews. The cookbook recipes included are very sparse and limited. I have the Joele app on my phone (because I was going to buy one) with all the recipes, preps, and videos, and I am wondering if I can use the same recipes, times and temps with this machine? The Joele has 1100 watts, the VPCOK has 1000 watts. If not, where can I go for recipes that will sync with this machine? Thanks!
Hi Sherry,
Wattage is only useful in how quickly it heats up the water. The cooking temperatures are the same, so the Joule recipes will work just fine.
I hope you enjoy sous vide!!!
